What to copy
- Write the disclosure obligation into the terms. It costs nothing and it is the honest version of word of mouth.
- Disqualify on shared billing and shipping details, not just shared email.
- State whether unused reward value rolls over, because customers will otherwise assume it does.
- Reward codes issued on or after 17 January 2024 cannot be stacked, so an advocate holding several can only spend one per order. Codes are not reissued if the referred customer returns the purchase, and all unused codes are revoked if Rothy's terminates the programme.
